    DPF / EGR

Limp mode, smoke, emission errors or weaker acceleration.

    Typical symptoms

Limp mode, smoke, emission errors or weaker acceleration.

    • Limp mode and loss of power
    • Smoke, higher fuel consumption, or frequent DPF regeneration
    • Emissions-related messages
    • DPF, EGR, boost pressure, or exhaust temperature errors

    What we check

    DPF/FAP/EGR diagnostics, cleaning or repair.

    • Diagnose DPF/FAP/EGR
    • Check sensors and system parameters
    • Assess cleaning or repair
    • Start work after cost approval

    Possible causes

    • Clogged DPF/FAP filter
    • Sticking EGR valve
    • Faulty pressure, temperature, or flow sensor
    • Mostly short city trips and unfinished regenerations

    When to contact the workshop

    • If the car enters limp mode
    • If DPF regeneration happens very often
    • If oil level rises or heavy smoke appears
    • If you plan a trip and the car already shows emissions errors

What you can check before the visit

    • Whether the issue appears after city driving
    • Whether the fan runs after switching the engine off
    • Whether fuel consumption increased
    • Whether DPF/EGR errors were previously cleared without fixing the cause

    Repair process

No hidden payments and no repairs without customer approval.

    Common questions

    Does DPF always need replacement?

No. We first diagnose the cause. Sometimes cleaning, sensor repair, or fixing the issue that clogs the filter is enough.

Can I drive with a DPF error?

Sometimes briefly, but ignoring it can lead to limp mode and a more expensive repair.
